The purpose of the aid for digitalisation solutions may be the replacement of IT tools already implemented by the beneficiary provided that they promote functional progress.

The basic order establishes three segments of beneficiaries by number of employees:

  • Companies and self-employed workers with between 10 and 50 employees.
    €12,000 bonus.
  • Companies and self-employed workers with between 3 and 10 employees.
    €6,000 Bonus
  • Companies and self-employed workers with less than 3 employees.
    €2,000 bonus.

The first step that the self-employed and SMEs have to take is to access the Acelera Pyme portal and register their business through an online form.
After this, they must complete the platform’s self-diagnosis test, which consists of 13 questions and is mandatory.
There are 2 other tests, but they are optional.
Finally, beneficiaries will have to wait for their call to open (depending on the number of employees) to apply for the aid.

The aid aims to cover 100% of the cost of the solutions, the company will only have to pay VAT.
However, if the solution of the chosen provider has a higher cost than the aid, you will have to pay the difference.

Be an SME in a registered situation, not be in a situation of crisis, be up to date with obligations with the Treasury and social security, not be subject to a pending recovery order from the European Commission, not incur any of the prohibitions provided for in the General Law on Subsidies, not have other de minimis aid for an amount greater than 200,000 euros in the last 3 years and have a valid electronic certificate.

The aid will be collected in the form of a digital voucher, and may not be paid until the Digitising Agent, on behalf of the beneficiary company, justifies the performance of the activity for which the subsidy is granted and the regulatory body considers its granting approved.

To do this, the beneficiary company must sign an Agreement for the Provision of Digitalisation Solutions with one of the Digitalising Agents of its choice.
